For the last time before he returns to Rome for good, young Italian boy Natan spends a summer on the coast of Mexico. Nurtured and guided by his grandfather and father he discovers the natural landscape of Mexico’s coral reef, Banco Chincorro. Alamar is a blend of gently told fiction and poetic documentary and is an award-winning visual treat released in the US as To the Sea.
