Triangle

This superior horror-thriller finds a group of twenty-somethings clambering for safety from their distressed yacht on to the deck of a ghostly 30s ocean liner that looms up out of the mist. It appears abandoned, but there is clearly some malignant presence trying to kill them, and a time-loop is creating replicants of the castaways with events repeating themselves in subtly disorienting ways. British director Smith piles on the pressure in satisfyingly scary style in this old-fashioned but masterfully rendered chiller.
